On September 4-6, a FISU visit took place one year before the start of the Championships.

The visit was attended by: Paulo Sivieri – FISU Sports Coordinator, Dirk Bogaert – FISU WUC Triathlon Technical Delegate and, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, Rafał Zakrzewski – Event Manager, Filip Szołowski – Sports Manager, Marcin Florek – Venue Manager Andrzej Burzyński -Academic Sports Association. 

The visit included checking the accommodation facilities and inspecting the routes of the upcoming Championships. The visit was also an opportunity to meet at the Sports Office of the city of Gdańsk with director Adam Korol, who supports the organization of the Championships.
